The developer of video games and daedalic entertainment Bastei Lübbe AG, shareholder Daedalic and editor Ken Follett novels on the German-speaking markets, are teaming up to create a media experience one of the masterpieces of Follett: Daedalic Entertainment, member Bastei Lübbe AG group of companies, will develop and publish a game based on Follett bestseller “the pillars of the Earth”.
The project – an adventure game – is scheduled to be released in 2017 on all major platforms. Among other releases are planned for PC, Mac, Xbox One ™, PlayStation®4 and iOS.
This is the first official Ken Follett video game to be developed. It will revolve around the best-selling history of Follett “The Pillars of the Earth”. Meanwhile, Ken Follett is also working on a new novel, to be published in autumn 2017 and will take readers to the fictional medieval town of Kingsbridge in the South of England.

Bastei Lübbe and Daedalic Entertainment will publish the game in 2017 in several countries as a commercial version and digitally worldwide on consoles, PC and mobile platforms. The game will be translated into more than ten languages.
